If you are in fact expecting a big drop in the DOW...well...DXD is the double inverse ETF of the DOW 30 !!!
DOW 30 goes DOWN...DXD goes UP !!!

BTW, FAZ is cheaper.
And, IMHO, will make bigger moves because it's a "3X" short ETF.

those FAZ $20 Octo calls sure are CHEAP!
Only $1.80.
I loaded up on the TNA puts Monday.
So, I'll just stay "put".

Almost every "Dividend Paying Utility" that goes up 8% will lose at least 1% within 24 hours.

loading up on the DXD Octo calls @ $1.65.
If market gaps up this a.m., they will be DIRT cheap.

Karen - remember when I wrote "short every stock I am currently long on"?
look at the ICON October puts (QIAVC) - up 370% today. Even if you made no money on any of the others, that would have made you smile for the rest of the week!
