you find the stocks that are moving up and down compared to their historical volatility-- non otcbb stocks-- best movers right now are the biotech stocks--- and they seem to follow the biotech index very well in both directions- when they are moving they also follow the intraday and daily rsi(2) very well and you want to use the linear reggression as sort of a bottom trend line-- you use a 5 day HV to find these stocks- you want one with 200+ 5 day HV s-- on that list right now are nuvo tgen cege - so we hit the bottom of the biotech index at the open today so you bought near the lows for cege at 5.05 high so far now 5.49 nuvo low 4.19 at 4.60 and dndn at 16.65 low now high is 18.87 aN TGEN AT 4.18 HIGH NOW AT 4.62 ALL IN A MATTER OF 35 minutes so far-- 4 days ago the they were all near their bottoms- they all went up 30-50% in 2 days which was the capitulation tops 2 days ago here is what they did-- botom 4 days ago high 2 days ago low today high so far today dndn 16 to 26 down to 17 up to 19 tgen 3.50 to 5.80 down to 4.19- now 4.60 nuvo 4.20 to 6.84 down to 4.19 now 4.60

the above v% is a setting under chart headers to find volume spikes whereas 1.0 is average volume for last 100 days 5.0 would be 5 times the normal volume-- set{v%, volume/average volume(100) } and add column v%

Although MARY4MONEY's posts are usually rather unclear, I do find most of them interesting. But the volatility filter is simple and clear enough.Out of curiosity, I checked the performance for 4/13 of some of the stocks MARY4MONEY mentioned on 4/12.
 NUVO : +5.26%
 CEGE : +1.33%
 MEM : +5.81%
 CTIC: +4.05%
 ISON : +10.46%
 ADLR : (0.55%)

 Not too shabby.

Ty Mary for sharing your filter...It is quite amazing...

for what i understand this is the filter

 close between 1 and 100
 and average volume(50) above 100000
 and historical volatility(5,1,365) above 200

you then added something thatlooks like chinese in your second post...
Symbol Last %Chg Vol RSI(2) Weekly
 RSI(2) v% Money
 Flow
 Index
 (10) Historical
 Volatility(5,1,365) LOW
 6-week
 low Average
 True
 Range
 (10) m% Analysis Chart

my question is i can't seem to have these other codes work

please forgive me for being ignorant... im just a beginner in this amazing universe of stock trading.

Is it possible to pls post your filter in blue so that i can simply open it.

 Thnks for your help

Those are the column headers that appear above the data when you run the filter:

 Symbol (first column)...Last(second column)...%Chg (third column)...Vol...RSI(2)...Weekly RSI(2)...

 etc.

I didn't check your filter completely, but MARY4MONEY created the v% column with the following statements :
 set{v%,volume/average volume(100)}
 and add column v%

Another post added those statements to look for volume spikes.
