anyone have the syntax for this: close is above 8 week high

Think about it... the close can't be above the current 8 week high, so you have to compare today's close with yesterday's 8 week high for this to be true.
Diff8 is the close minus the 8 week high.
Times8 is the number of times the close was higher.
HTH.
